No Website Payment Is Required
The website’s contact and Book Now forms do not collect payment. Submitting either form is free and does not create a purchase or service agreement.
30-Day Refund Request Period
If an eligible advance payment, retainer, deposit, or professional service fee is paid directly to Scheidel under a written agreement, a written refund request may be submitted within 30 calendar days of the payment date. Eligibility remains subject to the signed agreement, applicable law, work performed, costs incurred, commitments made, and the terms below.
Eligible Refund Amounts
Approved refunds generally apply only to the unused and unearned portion of an eligible payment. Amounts associated with completed engineering, estimating, planning, consultation, mobilization, procurement, permitting support, administrative work, reserved resources, noncancelable commitments, materials, subcontractors, or other costs already incurred are not refundable unless the written agreement states otherwise.
Nonrefundable Items
Nonrefundable items may include completed services; custom or project-specific work products; nonreturnable materials; permit, agency, delivery, or third-party fees; mobilization or demobilization costs; cancellation charges; and any amount designated nonrefundable in a signed agreement. Construction contracts, progress payments, change orders, and retainage remain governed by their specific agreements and applicable law.
How to Request a Refund
Email suzannescheidel@scheidelinc.com within 30 days and include the payer’s name, company, payment date, amount, invoice or agreement reference, and reason for the request. Do not send bank account or payment card details by email.
Review and Processing
We will review the request against project records and the controlling agreement. We may request additional verification. If approved, the refund will be issued using a reasonable method, generally to the original payer or payment source. Processing times vary by financial institution.
Controlling Agreements
If this policy conflicts with an executed proposal, contract, purchase order, change order, or other written agreement, the executed agreement controls to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
